Your notes are stored entirely on your device — encrypted, private, and never uploaded to a server. PocketNote does not require an account and has no access to your note content. To keep the app free, we display ads through AppLovin, which may collect limited device and usage data as described below.

Advertising data collected by AppLovin: To support the free version of the app, we display ads through AppLovin. AppLovin may automatically collect certain data to deliver and measure ads, including device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID), IP address and approximate location, device model and OS version, and app interaction data (such as ad impressions and clicks). This data is collected by AppLovin, not by us, and is separate from your notes. See Section 10 for details.
All data remains on your device and is used solely to provide app functionality:
We use flutter_secure_storage for encrypted local storage. Your data is stored using Android's encrypted shared preferences.
We do not share your notes or any personal data with third parties.
Your notes and personal information never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to export and share a backup file. The only data shared with a third party is the advertising data described in Section 2 and Section 10, which is collected directly by AppLovin (and its mediated ad networks) for the purpose of showing ads — we do not pass your notes or app data to them.

PocketNote does not require any form of user registration, login, or authentication with external services. There are no user accounts, email verification, or identity tracking of any kind.
PocketNote does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.
Since we collect no data whatsoever, there is no risk of inadvertently collecting children's data. The app is safe for users of all ages.

PocketNote uses AppLovin to display advertisements within the app. AppLovin may use mediation to serve ads from its own network as well as other partner ad networks.
